To be a Mom of two, in grad school, teach beautiful young minds (let’s also add in the stress of remote learning) AND finding time to renew their vows…wow! So they decided to say how they felt, right on the spot! Quotes like, “I love you for your body and everything its been through…” really got me in the feels!

I met Lindsey + Kyle 3+ years ago when we did a styled shoot in Cuyahoga Valley in Ohio. They were newlyweds at the time and only a month into this whole marriage thing!

Lennon Jane. A name we will always remember. A name we will always say. We will always keep baby girl in our hearts. Lindsey and Kyle have always been my "adventure couple" Since then, I've been able to watch their journey & it wasn't always easy, but this is what I admire about them. How strong they are. How they work together to work through one of the hardest things they would ever have to face together.

I could honestly never even imagine what they went through. I try to be careful about what I say and don't want to say the wrong thing, but I also never want to forget Lennon. I always want to remember her beautiful little face. Her cute little bow headband. Her name and how unique it was.

I woke up one morning and I opened Facebook half asleep. I woke up to a post and I quickly WOKE up. My heart hurt. I couldn't believe what I was reading. Something like this just doesn't happen. I don't always have the right words, nor could I imagine what they go through everyday and this is the closest experience I've ever had to loss, but I never want to forget baby girl. She will always be with us, even on this day!

This day, they wrote vows to each other again. They talked about all the reasons why they love each other. How strong they had been together. I was also able to meet Oliver Lennon (their baby boy!!)

Lindsay + Kyle my heart will always be with you guys and Lennon. I'm guessing I might not be saying something correctly, but my heart is always in the right spot. It hurts my heart when there is nothing I can do to take your pain away, but I am happy that I was with you guys that day and I could feel her with us.

This day was magical. It was a time to reflect and just enjoy each other. To look back at their journey and know how strong they are for whatever the future brings them. I’m so happy to be friends with them and I love seeing them anytime I’m in Arizona!!
