Permission to take your time
Following a strict timeline, accounting for every second of the day is not something you really envision for your day. Rushing from one place to the next, literally watching your day fly before your eyes. What if we could take our time, go slow and BREATH! Actually enjoy every minute, not stressing over anything.
Love is not meant to be rushed
Enjoy all the little things that happen throughout the day. Soak in the weather, the smells, and everything you see. Take your love outside and celebrate in nature.
Big weddings are just not your thing
You prefer not to be the center of attention, and the thought of everyone staring at you while you walk down the aisle just absolutely terrifies you?! Or maybe you just feel completely uncomfortable with the idea of having a bunch of people staring at you during what feels like it should be a private moment between the two of you.
Look, I see you! I get it. My second love language is Words of Affirmation and when words can be hard enough to say alone, I could only imagine the pressure saying them in front of others. I want to be able to share my private words with just my partner, so I totally get it! <3
You would rather spend money on the honeymoon or new house
The average traditional wedding produces about 400 lbs of trash. What if you preferred to save money on all the fluff that will eventually go to waste on a smaller wedding! Saving money (and the environment) for the honeymoon or new house.
Flowers die, food + cake are eaten and spending so much money on wedding decor (just for one day) really doesn’t sit well with you. Hell yeah, I’m right there with you spending a few days with my closest friends and family in a giant Airbnb and having that roll right into my week+ honeymoon!!
