Meagan + Matt | Engagement Peacock Road Family Farm | January 20th, 2019
I have to give ALL the thanks to Peacock Road Family Farm for letting us use their property even while they are technically closed! They are the sweetest family, I swear!! Most individuals wouldn’t allow that to happen so I am going to surprise them with a gift card in the mail as a thank you! Anyways, I am so glad we rescheduled to a better day. Meagan and Matt currently live in Chicago and they made their way to Holland and we were to meet in Laingsburg, MI for our engagement session, but the weatherman said it was going to be the first snow fall or “storm” of the season. Looking at the forecast, and the next day was going to be cold, but at least the sun was going to be out! So glad we rescheduled because the lighting was SO MUCH BETTER and we didn’t have a snowy blizzard in our faces!! haha These two do not need many prompts or cues from me as they naturally are just so into each other and in love…. even after 7 years!!!! 7 YEARS people!!!! Like that is so rare and unheard of these days! Right in the beginning of our session, one of the farm kitties decided to jump on their lap and demand to be petted! SO CUTE! We wanted to take him with us. I spy a farm kitty again. Hint: she’s in the background! ;) One of my new prompts that I like (and tried for the first time, thanks to my one other photographer friend Sarah) was “Tag and Kiss” and Meagan brought her tagging and kissing A game yo’ haha I say she wins!! I cannot get over how perfect the lighting was for us and let me tell you (maybe again for some…) lighting is EVERYTHING for us photographers!!
Side note: We also found a cool teepee!! <3
