Sarah + Tim | Howell Michigan Backyard Wedding | June 22nd, 2019

Let me start by saying if I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Julie is AMAZING! She is so talented and has such a great personality that makes it so easy to work with her. She is so incredibly organized which was one of my huge deciding factors for a photographer because I need organization and stability on a hectic day like my wedding day. I had so many people tell me how much they love that she got candid photos of the reception - which I think is so important so you can see all the love and fun that happened on your big day. I’m so happy I chose Julie to capture my wedding. This woman does not disappoint!!! 1,000,000 / 10 recommend!!

Everything was happening out in Howell today. I first hugged Sarah when I met her at her Best Friends house, where she was getting ready. When I got there, they were pretty much already…ready! So I spent the majority of the morning working on all Sarah’s little details. I found a log pile and thought, “Perfect!” I love nature like setups with pretty much…like…everything! After we grabbed all our things, we headed to the Church where Sarah was to put on her dress. We were in this tiny little room inside the church and all the feels happened in that room, especially when Sarah’s mom came in! About a week prior to the big day, Sarah had messaged me saying that it was officially a GO! That we were going to do this funny first look we both had seen on Facebook! She saw it and they bought a 2nd dress for their Best Man, Brent so thereafter!!! Here is a behind the scene VIDEO from my Facebook Page! The joke is that Brent is Tim’s “Boyfriend” because they are so close and best buddies!!! Tim had NO IDEA!!!!! Check it out! We even did a first look with Sarah’s Dad (cue the tears!) and then a for real this time, first look with the actual Bride hahaha The ceremony was short and sweet at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Howell, Michigan we then headed Downtown Howell to finish Bridal Party and Bride + Groom Portraits. Secretly super sad that the Alley was closed for construction (Which we knew a week prior to the big day…hoping things would miraculously change by then haha) It didn’t, but thats okay because my favorite spots were by the alley along the green wall and the Church across the street. I just need shade on sunny, harsh lighting days! Sarah and Tim’s Reception was in their parents backyard which is right across the street where her best friend lives. She was also the maid of honor…duh! haha Sarah and Tim do not really like to be the center of attention so low key, chill and relaxed was the main goal for their wedding day and it was just that. Some changed into casual clothes and then they just played yard games, chilled, drank, relaxed and had a great time! Congrats guys and I cannot wait to watch your family grow right along with your two pups! <3 I’m also EXCITED to add Sam to my 2021 Bride Tribe. She is pictured in green with her now fiance, Paul…who was also in Sarah and Tim’s Bridal Party. I just finished my Facetime meeting with her prior to finishing this blog post and all the same guys will be in the party. See you again Boys!!!! and Sarah too, I’m sure!!!!
